Surf's Up Layouts

Image
In honor of Throw Back Thursday I pulled out some old Close to My Heart paper and created these layouts with pictures fro 2013 (also in honor of Throw Back Thursday)! These layouts are made using Surf's Up. The two page layout is from a sketch from CTMH's Make it From the Heart Vol. 2 .   The second layout I created using the scraps of Surf's Up.  Join me next Thursday to see what what I find in my craft room!

Easter Cards

The Hopscotch paper pack has been one of my favorite papers to play with the past couple of months. Today I used the rest of my Hopscotch paper pack and the and an old Easter stamp "Some Bunny". I used the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the scalloped circle at 2" and then stamped with Smoothie ink "Some bunny loves you."  I colored the little girl and her Easter Basket with the fabulous ShinHan markers sold by Close to My Heart.  I hope everyone has some bunny to share their time with this Spring.

Blushed Easter Set

Over the next month I will be showing you all the different creations you can make with the 4 Close to My Heart Cricut Cartridges. Today I am showing casing the Artise  along with the Brushed paper pack and Paper Fundamentals Adventure Assortment . The basket and grass can be found on page 79 of the Artise cartridge. The basket is cut at 2" and only took me about 2 minutes to fold and assemble. It will be perfect to fill with candy for a small Easter gift. The grass on the card was cut at 1" and I cut it twice and layered it so it would fit all the way across the card. The sun is a 1 1/2" circle that I embossed with the CTMH Honeycomb  embossing folder and inked with Canary ink. The clouds are from page 66 of the Artise cartridge and I inked them with Crystal Blue ink. The rabbits are from the Artfully Sent cartridge and cut at 2", 1 3/4" and 1 1/2" and the smallest bunny is raised off the paper with an Adhesive Spring  from Close to My Heart.

Washi Tape Frame

Many of my customers love washi tape and everything about it! I have been slow to get on the band wagon but have been trying harder to incorporate washi tape into my crafty projects. I decided to use the Close to My Heart Black Arrow  washi tape and a wooden frame from IKEA to create this frame. Close to My Heart has 10 different styles of Washi tape to meet all of your crafty needs.
